FAQS

HOW CAN WE GET A TAILORED PROPOSAL?

I do recommend schedule a zoom call so I can get a sense of what are your wedding plans are. This way I create a tailored proposal that meets your exact needs. Every wedding is unique so I am always tailored proposal for each couple.

AFTER THE MEETING HOW LONG DO YOU HOLD THE DATE FOR US TO DECIDE?

After the connection call and proposal sent, you have 48 hours of priority on the date. After that it becomes first come first serve situation.

I WANT TO BOOK YOU. HOW DO I PROCEED?

I’ll ask you some personal information and some details about the wedding. Next I’ll send you the contract through an online platform, so you can sign digitally. At this point you’ll need to pay 40% of the total value.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT CONDITIONS?

The payment is done in three steps. 40% when you book the date and sign the contract. 40% thirty days before the wedding and the final 20% when your online gallery is ready. You can pay by bank transfer or credit card (+4,2% Taxes)

DO YOU ADD TRAVELING EXPENSES?

All travel expenses will be included in the proposal.

DO YOU WORK WITH AN ASSISTANT OR SECOND SHOOTER?

In a wedding with 100 guests or more I recommend a second shooter to help me. This way we can separate during the preparations and have two different perspectives during the ceremony and the party. For micro weddings I usually work alone.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL YOU DELIVER?

There is no fixed number. Every wedding is different, it depends on what happens during the day. On average I deliver 500 to 700 edited photos.

HOW LONG WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE PHOTOS?

I shoot a lot so I make sure to capture the most important moments. Selecting those photos and then editing them takes its time. Usually the work will be ready for delivery in 60 days after the wedding.

HOW WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS?

You will receive an access to a private online gallery, that you can share with friends and family and also download the high resolution photos.

CAN WE PRINT THE PHOTOS?

Yes. The photos are delivered in high resolution and you can print in large sizes. If you want me to do the printing you can place the order on the online gallery. I highly recommend you print a few photos, specially in fine art paper that has better quality and durability.

HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU SHOOT PER YEAR?

Around 15/20 weddings a year, depending on the travels, so I can dedicate my full attention and care to each couple.

HOW MANY WEDDINGS HAVE YOU DONE?

Quite frankly I lost count. My first wedding was in 2008 and I think I must have shot over 300 weddings in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, UK, Germany and Switzerland.

SHOULD WE TAKE CARE OF YOUR MEAL ON THE WEDDING DAY?

Yes, if possible. Most venues/caterers have a staff table where our meal is served. If it is not in the same place, it’s important it’s at least at the same time as your own meal, so I can be ready to shoot when something important happens.

DO YOU MAKE THE TRADITIONAL FAMILY AND GUESTS PORTRAITS?

I think it’s really important to do it with your closest family members, like parents and siblings. As to the rest of the guests I leave that up to you. If it is important to you to have a photo of everyone, this is the only way to assure it. In a documentary style work like mine making sure I got a photograph of every guest is almost impossible.

CAN WE COSTUMIZE OUR PHOTOBOOK?

I offer many album options to choose from. Book, traditional print and fine art print. Each option comes in different sizes and the final details are all costumizable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET SICK OR ARE QUARANTINED?

Knock on wood... it never happened in my 12 years as a wedding photographer and I hope it never does. However, when you hire a second shooter he can fill in for me in case something happens. Also, along the years I met countless photographers I can reach out to if necessary.
