Outdoor Winter Wedding | Torre Bella

Ana and Pedro planned an outdoor winter wedding in Quinta da Torre Bella, along the bank of the Douro River. A beautiful background! But the days before the wedding were cold and rainy. On the wedding day, Ana and Pedro had to make a decision by the end of the morning whether or not the ceremony would take place outdoors. They took a chance and the rain gave everyone a truce during the entire ceremony. The reception was held in a wonderfully decorated tent, with delicious details, particularly the table markers: each table had an illustration of an important moment of the couples’ life. All those fun drawings came together in the wedding invitation. One of our favorite illustrations was Pipo’s (a lovely dog that was present while Pedro was getting ready and also visited the party for a few moments).

“The most emotional moment was Ana’s entrance with her father, our hands so cold (a lot of cold, a lot of stress)…”  Pedro

“To make the ceremony more personal we exchanged vows. That was definetly the most emotional moment, when we shared our feelings for each other.” – Ana

On the following days we were filled with a great feeling of happiness… and it lasted for so long! Always smiling, holding hands. We were married! Ana
