After 10 years documenting weddings I sure have many stories to share. Different kinds of ceremonies and traditions, in rich and multicultural environments. These are a few of my favourite Destination Weddings.
October Destination Wedding in Azores Island.
Corinne and Rami had 29 guests, a close group of family and friends for what was, in their own words “a personal, intimate and fun” wedding day…
Destination Wedding in Alentejo.
Very relaxed and always ready to laugh and party, Tiziana, João, along with their friends and family, celebrated this day in an intense and unpretensious way, in a breathtaking scenario…
From Brasil to get married in Cortegaça.
Laissa and Villy packed their bags and came from Brasil, with their friends and family, to get married in Portugal, in Vila de Cortegaça…
Chinese Ceremony in Pousada de Amares.
They’re so kind and friendly, so joyful and authentic. And that’s how the celebration was too. Unpretentious, lively and emotional…
Ourdoor Destination Wedding in Pico, Azores.
Surrounded by their friends, the party began when they were just getting ready, in a chilled and fun mood. The ceremony, simple and emotional, happened to the sound of fado….
SHORT ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Luis Efigénio and I’m a Destination Wedding Photographer based in Portugal. I’ve been documenting weddings, couples and families since 2009. I’ve been Awarded Top 25 in the world by Wedding Photojournalist Association and Top 100 by Fearless Photographers.
Without interfering I capture the moments as they unfold, in natural and spontaneous photographs. You just have to worry about enjoying the day. I’m not interested in the ordinary, I always look beyond the obvious. I like alternative and unconventional weddings and I want my work to reflect that. I try to be invisible, if you don’t notice me, it allows me to get closer. That way, I can capture your true personality. I can be there for those raw and really meaningful moments.
